When it rains it pours! I only had the pleasure of interning 1 day this week. I brought my Monday in with a bang. I was searching and reveiwing tapes for another project. I was able to find some great clips for a commercial showcasing technology at the City Colleges of Chicago.
Unfortunately my baby fell ill and I had to turn into Dr. Mom. I missed intern days and school days. But this being my final semester I knew there would be trials and tribulations. My baby is back to being her busy self and the show must go on. I know I don't have much to brag about, but this is only the beginning.

WYCC Week 1
It's my first week at WYCC and so far so good. I know one things for sure it feels great to finally have an internship. Many question why I picked WYCC, and I tell them sometimes it's good to step outside your box. I love radio and sales, but I also love adding other notches under my belt.
This week I was able to work with Greg King on an assignment. I helped with a Facebook town hall meeting questionnaire for Mayor Rahm Emanuel. It was fun and I learned something new. I look forward to the weeks ahead. Until then stay blessed and I'll blog with you next week.
